Business rates

Non-domestic rates (often known as business rates) is a charge that businesses and other occupiers of non-domestic properties must pay. Some of the money we collect contributes towards the cost of the services we provide.

The current valuation came into effect on 1 April 2026. You can check your Rateable Value by visiting the Valuation Office.
