Wantage Neighbourhood Plan

What’s happening now?

Following the independent examination of the Wantage Neighbourhood Plan, the District Council has decided that the plan should proceed to referendum. The referendum will take place on Thursday 1 May 2025.

To vote you must be registered to vote in local elections by Midnight on Friday 11 April 2025 and live in the referendum area. Make sure you register to vote if you haven’t already.

If you want to vote by post, you will need to complete an application form and send it to the Electoral Registration Officer to arrive by 5pm on Monday 14 April 2025 at the address below or email to elections@southandvale.gov.uk. More information is available on our Vote by Post page.

If you can’t get to the polling station and don’t wish to vote by post, you may be able to vote by proxy. If you want to vote by proxy, you will need to complete an application form and send it to the Electoral Registration Officer to arrive by 5pm on Wednesday 23 April 2025 at the address below or email to elections@southandvale.gov.uk.
