What happens to – your small electricals and batteries
We send any small electrical items you leave out to a specialist electricals recycler. At their site, the items are broken down so that individual parts can be recycled and reused.
Batteries go to a separate contractor. They take batteries apart so that the semi-precious metals found inside can be recycled and reused.
